NEBO CATTLE SALE Friday 10th December 2021
Combined agents at Nebo Saleyards saw a slightly larger yarding this month of 900 head for the last sale of 2021, comprising of 620 Steers, 30 Cows, 240 Heifers and 10 Bulls & Mickies. A tremendous result was received for our vendors with records being broken in both the steer & heifer market, with steers reaching 820c/kg & heifers 728c/kg. Once again there was very strong buyer support coming from central & southern Queensland.

Day Cattle Co Nebo Sold a line of Feeder Brahman Steers making 550c/kg with the best pen returning $2,343/hd
Fort Cooper Pty Ltd Nebo Sold 251 No.1 Santa Cross Steers to break the Nebo Sale yards Record, topping at 820c/kg, with the draft avg 700c/kg to return an excellent avg of $1,971/hd. Fort Cooper, also broke the saleyards records with their heifers making 728c/kg, with the 140 heifers averaging 667c/kg to return $1,610/hd
The Kainga Nebo Sold No.1 Santa Brahman Cross Steers for 814c/kg weighing 205kg to return $1,670/hd
Big Horn Pastoral Nebo Sold Brangus Weaner Steers for 750c/kg, weighing 206kg to return $1,546/hd
Strathdee Nebo Sold 145 No.1 Brahman/Charbray Steers to top at $2,018/hd with a very good avg $1,948/hd
George & Tanya Plemunek Bloomsbury Sold a pen of Brangus Cross Weaner Steers for 770c/kg weighing 217kg to return $1,676/hd

Tolsworth Hay & Grazing, Sold an Angus bull for 360c/kg, weighing 845kg, to return $3,043 & Brangus cows for 360c/kg, weighing 590kg, to return $2,125/hd
