GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE WEDNESDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2022
CQLX Combined Agents saw a slight decrease in yarding yesterday with 3,131 head offered, comprising of 1,394 Steers, 1,471 Heifers, 193 Cows, 41 Cows & Calves and 32 Bulls. Cattle were drawn from North to Bowen, Collinsville & Mt Coolon through to Miriam Vale in the South with several larger lines of steers and heifers on offer. Quality was mixed through out most of the yarding which seen some variation in prices. We still seen competition in the buyers panel with most of the usual buyers operating, having 2 processors and 1 feedlot buyer absent this week. Backgrounding/weaner steers and heifers were still in strong demand with several restockers operating.
