GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE Wednesday 24th March 2021
With the continued welcome rain in the catchment area, CQLX Gracemere combined agents had a decreased yarding of 1147 head today, comprising of 504 steers, 428 heifers, 90 cows and 70 bulls. It was a good quality offering in good, forward condition. A larger than normal percentage of cattle came from Collinsville, Mackay, Proserpine and other northern districts. The usual processor panel was short a couple of buyers although there was one more feeder buyer and restockers were limited due to the drop in numbers. Competition was good on all but the heavier cattle and particularly those to processors.
