Gracemere Market Report 03/02/2021
GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE Wednesday 03rd February 2021
CQLX Gracemere combined agents had an increased yarding of 4228 head today, comprising of 1998 steers, 1629 heifers, 321 cows and 147 bulls. Overall a good quality offering with a big percentage of well-bred Brahman cattle a feature of the sale. Condition was also forward, with the exception of many of the cattle drawn from Marlborough, St Lawrence and west towards Middlemount, an indication of the season in these districts. Restocker orders again increased this week, along with one extra feeder and the usual processors being present. Competition was strong although across the board prices eased slightly.
