Country The cultivation country consists of Brigalow and Belah soils. Approximately 40Ha is flood country grassed with Para grass and hymenachne.

Cultivation There is a total of 110 acres that has been used as cultivation in the past with approximately 20 acres put back to pasture.  It is all currently planted to Rhodes grass but has previously grown Lucerne, forage and cereal crops

Irrigation A total of 67acres is watered by 2 Reinke center pivot irrigators. The water is delivered from the 42,500g/h bore through 6 inch underground mains by a 35hp Duetz diesel motor delivering 12,000 gallons an hour.  A with a further 10 acres is able to be water by removing a couple of trees.
