GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE 26TH OCTOBER 2018
The yarding at CQLX Gracemere increased this week to 2105 head which consisted of 1229 Steers, 707 Heifers, 84 Cows, 27 Cows & Calves and 31 Bulls. Cattle came from as far south as Monto and north to Ayr with some well-bred cattle on offer. The market improved overall with some strong competition from the buyer’s gallery.

HIGHLIGHTS
Semple Family Dysart sold a large draft of Santa/Brahman cross steers topping at 318c to average 306c weighing an average of 489kg to return $1496.
Nobbs Cattle Co. Duaringa sold xbred cows to top at 250c weighing 589kg to return $1472. Their Simmental no.8 steers topped at 300c weighing 382kg to return $1146
Cedar Creek Grazing sold Angus x feeder steers to top at 298c weighing 373kg to return $1113
Spelta Grazing Gogango sold Santa x steers for 292c weighing 335kg to return $979. The weaner heifers sold to 284c weighing 303kg to return $862
Gibham Pty Ltd Ogmore sold no. 8 Grey Brahman heifers for 294c weighing 234kg to return $689
